FATHERS
2003 Note From a Dad to Sherry:
“On another subject entirely, I want to take this opportunity
to personally thank you for your work. My wife joined one
of your
groups when our son was born. That was 3 years ago, and the group
is still going strong. A few families have moved away, but
a new
generation of babies is here, or shortly to arrive. We (the dads
are somewhat involved) continue to schedule play dates once
a
week, not to mention a holiday party and an annual camping overnight
to the Sierras in August--we've done that twice now. It has
been
wonderful to have these children and parents in our lives. Thanks
again.”
2003 Note From a Dad to Sherry:
“Admittedly, I was skeptical at first -- why should we
pay hundreds of dollars when you can just as easily meet with
friends you bump into strolling around the neighborhood? Soon
after I caved in, I realized the
value of the group. My wife had greater peace of mind, as well
as the confidence to try new approaches in care -- and our little
one responded making everyone a little more pleasant around home!”
