UC BOTANICAL GARDEN
The entrance fee to the garden is $3 and parking for 2 hours is $1 or 2. You pay for the parking at a little automatic booth which takes both coins and bills.

From Oakland:

Take Telegraph or College towards campus. Turn right on Channing. Continue up Channing, going around the circle at Piedmont Ave, and go up 2 blocks to Prospect. Turn left on Prospect. This street dead-ends behind the stadium. Before it dead-ends, take a right and then immediately a left onto Rim Road. This will lead you up behind the top of the stadium. Turn right onto Centennial Drive. Go past Strawberry Canyon Pool Wind up the hill a little ways until you come to a traffic light. The garden will be on your right. Continue past the light and park in the lot just beyond the light on the left hand side of the road.

From North Berkeley:

Go up Hearst St. Right on Gayley Rd which goes across the top of campus Left on Rim Rd which goes up around the football stadium Left at stop sign to Centennial Go past Strawberry Canyon Pool Wind up the hill a little ways until you come to a traffic light. The garden will be on your right. Continue past the light and park in the lot just beyond the light on the left hand side of the road.

From the Oakland hills:

Take Grizzly Peak Road towards Tilden Park. Go past the steam trains. Turn left onto Centennial Drive Go past the Lawrence Hall of Science and continue down the hill a bit. Just before the traffic light, turn right into the parking lot. The garden is across the street.

From Berkeley hills:

Drive South on Grizzly Peak Turn right on Rim Road Go left on Centennial Drive Go past the Lawrence Hall of Science and continue down the hill a bit. Just before the traffic light, turn right into the parking lot. The garden is across the street.
