Bring water and food. Bathrooms (sometimes closed) and benches are usually available. Start walking counter clockwise if you arrive on time----less hilly approach Walk clockwise if you arrive late.

Take 24 East towards Walnut Creek. Go through the Caldicott Tunnel. Exit at "Mt. Diablo Blvd/Acalanes Road" Stay to the right. Fork right when the exit ramp splits. At intersection, go straight onto Mt. Diablo Blvd. The entrance to reservoir is approx. 1/2 mile on the right.

Metered parking is .25 per hour two hour max or you can pay $ 5.00 entrance into the park Bring at least 6-8 quarters if you plan to use the meters! Tickets are $16 if your meter expires.
